The Covid-19 pandemic will still be an issue of concern during the spring 2021 baseball season. While baseball benefits from being an outdoor sport that is rather social-distanced by nature, for the safety of players, coaches, spectators, and the community, TVBL will adhere to any protocols required to minimize the risk of disease transmission. These policies will be established and revised as necessary based on current government mandates, CDC recommendations, and scholastic sports governing bodies.
We are confident a relatively normal baseball season can be played, but in the event pandemic realities and mandates force a delay to the start of the season, scheduling will emphasize playing as many games as possible. In the event the whole season is canceled, any refund requests will be honored.
In the end, what we all want is to give our kids a chance to play baseball again. Everyone has a role in making that possible. We appreciate player, coach, parent, and spectator adherence to, and patience with, all pandemic-related safety policies and scheduling.
